HIV and the Church

It’s amazing time of growth here at Saddleback as our entire church participates in the Miracle of Mercy series! Together, in weekend services and in our small groups, we are learning what it looks like to experience God’s healing mercy and extend that mercy to others. (Check out the series at Miracle of Mercy)

As part of the campaign, small groups are invited to go into the community to serve on Mercy Projects - opportunities to express tangible love and mercy to our neighbors and the world. You and your small group can take part in a mercy project that will minister to people affected by and infected with HIV and AIDS!

We’ve already received some amazing feedback about the impact mercy projects are making:

“It made such a huge difference cause they loved me like family. They are so amazing. It put me at ease for my surgery because I felt so cared for” (ministry member who received care)

“They didn’t just drop off the meal – they sat and talked with me for an hour. That’s the part that was really special" (ministry member who received a meal)

Here are the opportunities for you and your small group to get involved. If you are interested in any opportunity, email HIV@saddleback.com for more info or call us at 949-609-8555:
