HIV and the Church

Saddleback HIV&AIDS Initiative loves the opportunity to share the message of the Church being a source of community and hope for people living with or affected by HIV and AIDS! One way we do this is through involvement in community events like Orange County’s annual AIDS Walk.

AIDS Walk Orange County will be held this year on May 6th from 10am to noon at William R. Mason Regional Park in Irvine. We invite you to join the Initiative to love on the community and share how our church and others can offer compassion, community, and real solutions for people living with HIV and AIDS.

We will walk to honor those who have been lost to the HIV/AIDS pandemic and to support those in our community and globally who are living with HIV today. We are excited to join with other community players in Orange County who dream of getting to zero- zero new HIV infections, zero AIDS-related deaths, zero babies born with HIV, and zero stigma!

Whether you’re already active with Saddleback’s HIV&AIDS Initiative, or this is your first introduction to our ministry, AIDS Walk is a great opportunity to come together and show that we care for people living with and affected by HIV in our community! Our team is forming now – if you’d like to join us, please email HIV@saddleback.com or call the HIV&AIDS Initiative line at 949-609-8555.
