HIV and the Church

This Easter, Pastor Rick is launching a powerful spiritual growth campaign at Saddleback called Miracles of Mercy. As part of the campaign, small groups are invited to go into the community to serve on Mercy Projects - opportunities to express tangible love and mercy to our neighbors and the world. You and your small group can take part in a mercy project that will minister to people affected by and infected with HIV and AIDS!

This Saturday we prepared our hearts to serve during Miracles of Mercy by setting aside a full day of prayer and fasting in the Lakeside Library at the Rancho Capistrano campus. Old and new faces enjoyed a time of prayer, worship music, vision-casting, and fellowship. It was amazing to see God move in hearts and minds, as we sought his face, his wisdom and his strength for our church in this exciting time of reaching out for people infected with and affected by HIV and AIDS.

It's not too late to add your voice - your prayers and your participation will make a difference as we launch this season of Mercy Projects! Right now you can ask God to go before us and bring victory for those in need of his mercy:  Simply click this link to view the prayer guide.

If you and your small group would like to be a part of a mercy project, email HIV@saddleback.com, or call the HIV&AIDS Initiative line at 949-609-8555.
