You can Make A Difference With Simple Things  - Dog Walking, Meals, Transportation

You can make a difference in the life of someone living with HIV - and all it requires is showing up and being a friend! Examples of ways to serve include helping with dog walking, meals, or transport. If you are interested in being a part of a "care project" email There are opportunities to get started this week.


Prayer Team

Join our team that prays for our ministry and the needs of ministry members - you can even pray over the phone! 


Training and Advocacy

Help our ministry and others become more knowledgeable about HIV. If you enjoy researching or presenting, this is the opportunity for you. We also are looking for people from our ministry to represent the HIV&AIDS Initiative by attending local government events regularly.


Office & Event Support

There’s always ways to help with admin, etc. here in the ministry offices. There are also ways to serve in event planning and set up!

Do you like Facebook or can you tweet, write a blog, or research?  You can help by contributing to www.HIVAIDSInitiative.comFacebook, and Twitter.


Rwanda Orphan

You can help a child orphaned by AIDS in Rwanda leave the orphanage and gain a forever family! For $38.00/month a Rwandan family is empowered in adoption/foster care. Each family has been selected by the local church in Rwanda and receives classes, support and accountability in caring for their child. Visit to sign up!


Rwanda HIV/Healthcare PEACE Trips – You can make a difference in Rwanda!

The HIV&AIDS Initiative of Saddleback Church inspires and equips churches in Rwanda to launch HIV&AIDS ministries in their church. We’ll teach you what you need to know to go to Rwanda. Trips are being planned for March and May and typically are about 2 weeks long.

Meet people who care! If someone would like more information on support groups, we can connect them to others who want to connect with them and come alongside them.
